Westwood One teams up with Nexage to centralize mobile ad delivery

Westwood One has partnered with Nexage to help centralize and monetize mobile ad delivery for the network radio provider and its affiliated media partners.

As part of the agreement, Westwood One will apply Nexage?s AdMax system, which will help the company better serve its national mobile advertisers. Additionally the service will help its mobile partners, such as newspapers, radio and television stations better serve their local advertisers.

?WestWood One is a great client for Nexage ? they have a tremendous amount of premium mobile inventory, and are one of the leading providers of traffic information on the mobile web, said Dev Gandhi, CEO of Nexage, Waltham, MA.

?Their pool of national and local content spans all of the major mobile silos ? offering rich media across mobile Web, BlackBerry app, iPhone app, and Android app ? and Nexage is uniquely positioned to offer ad mediation and optimization services that efficiently and easily integrate with all of the major platforms,? he said.

?Nexage leverages a multitude of first and third-party data parameters to increase CPMs across WestWood One?s unsold inventory.?

Nexage is a developer of mobile advertising services that enable companies to maximize advertising revenue from its mobile properties.

Westwood One provides network radio programming and traffic information in the United States.

Mobile ads
Westwood One will be able to manage all advertising served on all of its mobile applications.

Additionally, all of the company?s affiliates can integrate local advertisters into their Westwood One mobile offerings.

?Nexage?s strength lies in its ability to offer a seamless, integrated solution across the disparate mobile channels ? mobile Web and all major application platforms,? Mr. Gandhi said. ?WestWood One needed a partner that was able to help them efficiently monetize these distinct properties, and offer a user-friendly interface that manages multiple sites from a single reporting dashboard.?

Mobile offerings
Westwood One?s mobile offerings include traffic-on-the-go, a traffic service delivering live camera images of traffic conditions in more than 30 U.S. markets and mobile traffic alerts via RealTraffic and Sigalert, as well as iPhone applications for ?The Dennis Miller Show,? ?Loveline with Dr. Drew Pinsky? and ?The Fred Thompson Show.?

According to Westwood, the ability to manage ad placement and provide its clients with detailed performance is key.

?Nexage offered that scalability and ease of use, enabling them to scale their mobile advertising business efficiently and effectively,? Mr. Gandhi said. ?WestWood one was looking for a solution that allowed them to scale their mobile advertising business at both the national and local level.

?Nexage bridges the mobile advertising economy by providing a single point of integration and single reporting dashboard for all of the WestWood One sites and affiliate partner sites, enabling them to offer greater value to their advertisers,? he said.
