Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas taps SMS to reward loyal guests

Elizabeth Arden?s Red Door Spas is using SMS to reward loyal guests and have them opt-in to receive text offers and exclusive deals.

The company is inviting loyal consumers to become Mobile Rewards Insiders. According to the  company, the mobile program is not only incentivizing guests to return to the spa, but also helping Red Door achieve their goal of having a presence in the social media space.  

?It?s a mobile text program that we are using to reach out best guests,? said Alex Basso, marketing manager at Red Door Spas.

?We?re targeting guests that are already our guests,? she said. ?It?s a way for us to treat them as preferred guests and it?s sort of a VIP program where they?re essentially getting all these exclusive offers.?

Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Spas offer an all-encompassing luxury day spa and hair salon menu in 31 US locations nationwide.

Mobile spa
Consumers can opt-in to receive exclusive offers such as $20 off a $100 service or retail purchase or a complimentary shampoo, blow-dry and finish with their next massage.

Elizabeth Arden?s Red Door Spas is encouraging guests to sign up with an in-spa contest where guests that opt-in are entered for a chance to win an ?Iconic Red Door with Shampoo, Blow-dry and Finish? spa package.

Additionally, guests can learn about the text program from in-spa signage, Facebook and Twitter communications, as well as a dedicated Red Door on the Go landing page on their Web site.
Consumers are encourage to text the keyword CODERED to the short code 77953.

?SMS is another way to reach out and it?s all about convenience,? Ms. Basso said. ?We have a sister company and they?ve seen success from the program.

?We?re doing a lot of push through social media,? she said.

Opt-in
By texting the keyword CODERED, consumers will also be entered for a chance to win the Iconic Red Door spa package.
