AKQA has won the Verizon Wireless digital marketing account, which has been in review since January. Moxie Interactive and R/GA were handling the telecom giant's digital assignments, now charged to AKQA, including e-commerce, mobile, B2B marketing, and in-store digital.
According to an AdAge story, the account is worth $10 million, and AKQA beat SapientNitro, Publicis Groupe's Denuo, Interpublic's Huge, and the previously mentioned incumbents.
