- In July, Twitter opened up its analytics dashboard for organic tweets to all advertisers and verified accounts, but Wednesday it announced that the dashboard is now available for all users.
- Twitter users can now gather insight on impressions, clicks, retweets and replies -- as well as monthly engagement and overall account engagement.
- The announcement was made via tweet from Twitter front end engineer Ian Chan.
Absolutely thrilled to open up access to http://t.co/wcU6oj9hFM to EVERYONE. Check it out, and let us know what you think!— Ian Chan (@chanian) August 27, 2014
Twitter is now doing what other third party apps and platforms had already been doing —providing analytics on Tweets. Small businesses and brands not interested in paying for advertising and analytics will now have access to information that can benefit its social media presence.
