New York, New York – Michael Dobson has been appointed Global Chief Digital Officer and EVP Digital at Active International. In this newly created role, Dobson will oversee the digital strategy for the company, including its subsidiaries and partners across 14 offices worldwide, raise awareness in the market for the company’s digital capabilities, products and services, and scale offerings that support the company’s global objectives. He will continue to also serve in his current role, leading Active’s U.S. digital agency, iNvolved Media, and managing digital efforts for Active’s U.S. operations. Dobson is based in the company’s New York City office.

Previous experience includes Head of Marketplace Media, Social, Search, Programmatic Agency Lead with Crossmedia, Director of Social Media/Digital Marketing & Advertising Strategist with Media Assembly – Unique Influence and Marketing Business Development, Ecomm Marketing Manager with Michaels Stores, Inc. Dobson also ran his own consulting firm, planning and executing business marketing and advertising campaigns for his clients.
