GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA (January 7, 2026)— Pace, the largest independent, woman-owned content marketing agency in North America, has announced the appointment of Rosemary Calderone as its first-ever Chief Growth Officer, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to a purposeful growth strategy. Rosemary will be charged with overseeing both the marketing and new business teams.
The hire follows a period of significant agency momentum with wins across travel and hospitality, financial services, healthcare, automotive, retail and technology. In her role, Rosemary will build upon renewed market interest in the role of content fueling business results by leading the development of a holistic growth strategy and building upon Pace’s position as a leading content marketing agency grounded in creativity, strategy and human insights.
“Our growth over the past few years has been intentional and energizing,” says Leigh Ann Klee, President and COO of Pace. “As the marketing landscape continues to evolve, we wanted a growth leader who understands how to drive results without losing sight of what truly moves people. Rosemary brings the clarity, curiosity and leadership needed to guide Pace’s next phase of growth.”
Calderone brings more than 20 years of experience in senior growth and business leadership roles at agencies including McCann, MSL, Havas, Hill Holliday and Wunderman. She has led growth, brand and marketing for some of the world’s most respected brands, including Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, Verizon, Vanguard, Liberty Mutual and Coca-Cola.
Her appointment reinforces Pace’s belief that content is how modern marketing works—connecting brand meaning to real-world action across the entire customer journey.
“Content moves people. People move business,” says Calderone. “That belief sits at the center of everything Pace does. Pace has built a legacy on creating content that makes people feel, think and act, and I’m excited to help continue to scale that impact for our clients and for the agency.”
“As content continues to evolve, brands need partners who can help them stay relevant without losing what makes them human,” adds Gordon Bass, Chief Creative Officer at Pace. “That means respecting new capabilities, including emerging technologies, while staying grounded in human creativity, judgment and craft. Rosemary brings a thoughtful, balanced approach to growth that aligns perfectly with how we move people, fuel results and set the pace as an agency.”
