Ideas United, an Atlanta-based strategic creative firm built to move people, has partnered with the Atlanta Dream to bring Light Up ATL to life, turning the city’s support for its team into a shared experience ahead of the WNBA Finals. On Friday, Oct. 16, from 7 to 11 p.m., buildings, venues, and landmarks across Atlanta will shine Dream blue, with businesses and residents invited to join the citywide send-off.
Part of All For Atlanta, the Dream’s 2026 playoff campaign, Light Up ATL gives fans a way to participate in the team’s first Finals appearance since 2013. From Atlanta’s skyline to neighborhood storefronts and front porches, each blue light will become a larger expression of support.
Ideas United is helping organize and amplify the Dream-led initiative in collaboration with the City of Atlanta. The partnership reflects Ideas United’s approach to audience engagement: understanding what moves people and creating experiences that turn connection into action.
“The Dream have given Atlanta something to rally around, and we wanted to help turn that pride into something people could be part of,” said David Roemer, CEO and Co-Founder of Ideas United. “That’s what moves us as a creative company. We work to understand what people care about and create a reason to act. With Light Up ATL, every building, business, and fan who joins in adds to a message the team can see: Atlanta is with you.”
