- As a first move to turn focus to global ad sales, AOL has appointed advertising SVP Jim Norton as head of global media sales.
- As part of Norton's main goal to gain more international mega deals with big brands, AOL will be reorganizing its sales force by categories.
- To reorganize, AOL has created and filled five category development officer positions that will cover the following categories: retail, finance, autos and packaged goods.
