Dive Brief:
- As long as there is Twitter, it seems there will be brands who fail at tweeting.
- Burger King recently demonstrated that hijacking the popular trend of "Throwback Thursdays" and hashtag #tbt doesn't work if you don't understand the theme. They questioned followers, "Where were you when you first got #Satisfried?"
- Using questions to inspire Twitter responses does not work if you ask a question like Snapple's "Have you ever tried to carry a Snapple in your pocket?"

Dive Insight:
With such a casual oversight of social media tactics, there won't be any shortage of stupid and silly tweets coming from brands any time soon. For brands, this isn't great news because they will continue to look like fools, but for the rest of us, we won't have any shortage of humor.
