Dive Brief:
- LinkedIn announced via blog Monday the launch of its new app Elevate for desktop, iOS, and Android.
- Elevate helps employees share company content on Twitter and LinkedIn—taking advantage of their organic social connections.
- Product manager Will Sun explained in the blog, “Our research shows that only 2 percent of employees share content their company has shared on LinkedIn. “Yet they drive tremendous value. They’re responsible for about 20 percent of the overall engagement—clicks, likes, comments, and shares—that content receives."
Dive Insight:

Elevate could be the platform to help employees who want to share social content, but needed a better outlet to do it.
