PubMatic is certainly not alone in its ambitions to sell more ads on mobile. MediaMath just snatched up TactAds and Intregal Ad Science bought Simplytics recently in similar efforts. As more publishers shift more business to mobile, all ad platforms will have to find ways to adjust.
