- Samsung continued its long-running mockery of Apple line-waiters with a new virtual line for fans mentioning its new Galaxy S4 on Twitter.
- New Zealand agency Colenso BBDO came up with the "Smart Phone Line" and put up a large screen in Auckland displaying a line with the avatars of those in queue.
- Fans progressed through the line by mentioning the new phone on Twitter, and the person at the front of the line by the end of the promotion received a free Samsung Galaxy S4.
