- Popular tourist attraction the Seattle Space Needle has received a branding and marketing facelift this year with a mobile and digital upgrade.
- Tourists will now be able to see more than just the view with an interactive digital display dubbed "SkyPad" and various interactive kiosks that utilize Microsoft technology, which is a Seattle based corporation.
- The needle now also has a mobile app that works like a personal tour guide through the Space Needle.
The Space Needle has meant to represent innovation since it's construction, so it was time the attraction stepped up its digital game. The spot will now represent more than just a place to snap pictures and send postcards from, by being an digitally interactive experience.
