This has been a great year for digital media companies. News outlets Vice received $500 million of funding, and BuzzFeed scored $50 million, proving that while print media might be on the decline, the news business is very much thriving. Vox also decided to build up its own in-house creative agency for branded content, Vox Creative, instead of looking to outside resources. The evolution of the news business is definitely going to be something to watch for 2015.
