Dive Insight:
"As a company that gets its inspiration from our customers, we're excited to partner with SBRA to usher in a new era of technology innovation through robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning," said C Spire President Stephen Bye, in the press release, adding the company expects to use the robot for improving consumer awareness, drive engagement and increase interest in company products, services and programs in its retail, marketing, and customer service.
Emerging technologies like Pepper give marketers new ways to interact with consumers increasingly becoming familiar with digital AI bots on social media or voice-controlled digital personal assistants. Humanoid robots bring that tech to physical interactions, but, of course, the challenge is making the tech reasonably usable for marketers who might not have a great deal of robotics or engineering experience.
Steve Carlin, Chief Strategy Officer, SBRA, described the new out-of-box solutions like Promoter as a way to ensure accessibility and ease of use for marketers. Promoter was described as a content management solution in the press release and was developed in conjunction with Solstice Consulting.
