Dive Insight:
Limelight Platform told Marketing Land its cloud-based live marketing platform is a unique martech product designed specifically for live marketing events and allows marketers to create, manage and measure campaigns around events. These events include test drives, trade shows and conferences, product sampling events and in-person consumer showcases.
Brands such as Allstate, BMW and L’Oréal have used the platform, CEO and founder Jonah Midanik told Marketing Land. The product includes an offline mode that allows marketers to capture database information such as prospect contact information for times when it can’t reach the cloud-based platform, uploading that data once it has a stable Internet connection. The feature should be especially useful for event marketing as it is not uncommon for expo and conference venues to have poor Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Rowanwood Ventures led the seed funding round.
