- CP&B is believed to be in the final stages of talks with two creative directors from Almap BBDO to open an office in Brazil.
- The office in Sao Paulo would be the sixth office for CP&B, which also has offices in Miami, Boulder, and L.A. in the U.S., and European offices in London and Gothenburg.
- The creative directors, Andre Kassu and Marcos Medeiros, are high-profile and much-awarded from their careers at Almap BBDO.
Since neither Kassu, Medeiros, or anyone at CP&B offered an official comment on the story, the expansion is still speculation. The idea to open up shop in Brazil is a popular one lately for agencies because of the growing market there, as well as several big events like the World Cup and the Olympics on the horizon. SapientNitro and Opera Media Works also rank among those companies expanding into Brazil over the past few years.
