- Honda has announced that it will be consolidating its digital marketing business for both Honda and Acura brands with a team from Razorfish and sibling agency Publicis Groupe.
- The decision started with a review earlier this year when Honda hoped it could par down from the handful of agencies that were managing marketing.
- The move will move media and digital under the same holding company umbrella, as well as consolidate digital creative and strategy.
Honda has recognized what a bunch of other brands are beginning to understand— simpler is often better. Honda is joining the ranks of Microsoft, Bissell, and Nestle who have all consolidated work into fewer agencies in the past year. Having work under one agency or one holding company can improve communication and make efforts a bit less complicated.
